Gabriel Oluwalana was born in Lagos but grew up in Kwara, where he attended elementary and secondary school before relocating to Ibadan, Oyo State, to complete his secondary education and earn a bachelor’s degree in Arts, English, and Literature at the University of Ibadan.
A dynamic creative entrepreneur, Gabriel channels his passion for writing and business as the Chief Director of Gabzy Cart International Ltd. He has driven the company’s growth with innovation and digital marketing, offering solutions across e-commerce, construction, electronics, and contracting services.
As Chief Editor at Sping Publishers, Gabriel has shaped its editorial vision by working closely with writers and publishing captivating and life-changing fictional stories, medical textbooks, inspirational books, and poetry collections. He also serves as a literary agent, amplifying diverse voices and curating impactful literature.
In his role as Digital Marketing Manager at U The Mind Company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, Gabriel develops and manages neuroscience-focused marketing strategies, social media campaigns, and brand visibility initiatives.
Beyond his business endeavors, Gabriel volunteers with Empowering Needy and Gender Equality (ENAGE) in Nigeria, advocating for social justice and gender equality to empower marginalized communities.
An accomplished author, Gabriel has published Glittering Quill (2021) and Song of Unquiet, Hope Resonance (2025), and contributed to Voice of Peace (2021), the first intercontinental poetry anthology organized by The League of Poets (African Edition). His upcoming novel, Freaking Fortune, explores the complexities of fate and moral dilemmas.
